Love One Another

Jeshua: My love to you all. I am the one you have called Jeshua, or in your English language, Jesus. You do not have to believe I am really Jeshua. If what I say speaks to your heart, embrace it; otherwise, discard it. You may wonder, how could I be Jeshua? Each of you is a spirit, a radiant and beautiful spirit, as I am.

That spirit can incarnate into a body, as you are now; or while discarnate, can move into anything for a shorter period, as I move my consciousness into this body with the blessings of Barbara who allows me to share her body for this morning.

(Jeshua stands up to switch to a stool, and walks to the audience greeting them.)

How are you? Are you having a beautiful morning? You are born this morning! Not me, all of us!

Let’s return to Christmas Day, the day you celebrate as the day of my birth. Some of you have asked, why did I come? If you had a loving father who came to you and said, “Son, I have an errand for you, a vital errand,” would you be willing to do it? You’re stretched out there in the sun, beautiful music playing, friends engaged in a very meaningful and brilliant dialogue, delicious food. “You want me to get up and go down there!!??” Well of course I will. My Father asks! What could give me more joy, although I understood it would be hard work. In essence he said to me, “My people are lost in the darkness. I ask you to remind them they are Light.”

You were created with free will, a spark of the divine, a spark of God. You came into an incarnation, radiant with Light, and immediately forgot who you were. Forgetting that you were Light, you began to wander into the swamps, into the shadowed forests, into the dark caves. Fear arose. You were not guaranteed when you came to earth that there would be no darkness. In fact, you came to experience that darkness so that out of your free will you could choose. And it is this matter of choice, to choose to be the Light, to choose to turn your back on fear, on hatred, on greed, and to bring forth this Light because of your free will choice, this is the power of your human incarnation and is the power that raises consciousness through all the universes.

So here you came, into this wonderful situation. You will have as many opportunities as is necessary to manifest yourself as greater light. But you were moving more and more into the dark areas. So my Father asked me, “Will you go and remind them of who they are?” This was my work. This is why I came.

I did not come for you to worship me but for you to know that we are one. You are awakened Christ consciousness itself. Can you bring it forth? With each incarnation, can you bring it forth more? You are Love. How could you ever be anything but Love?

Today, as you celebrate what you think of as my birthday, can we celebrate all our birthdays? You are the mother, you are the midwife, you are the child. The Christ consciousness is coming forth from you and expressing into this world. You are Love. Why do you forget so easily? Fear comes, grief comes, confusion comes, and then, down into a deep swamp you go. Well, come on out! Come and dance with me (Jeshua dancing)! I didn’t come for long faces. I came for joy, for love. So as we celebrate this day, please remember: you are born today. You are waking up. You are Love.

This world seems to have a lot of darkness in it right now. I’d ask you not to be afraid of that darkness. If you are— I see a friend there with a candle. Please hold the candle up (man does). If we held the candle up in front of that window, you couldn’t see it so well, could you? If that candle is held up in a dark place, it shines its light out. Each of you is asked to be the candle. Not to bring the candle into a place of light where it’s invisible but to hold it up in the darkness and let it radiate out. “It’s too hard,” you say. Well, is it going to be easier if you collapse into that dark pit?

You have a free will choice. “Love one another.” That is the simplest and clearest of what I have asked of you. Love one another. It’s easy to love the people here. Can you love those who are terrorists killing people across the world? How do we love them? They are the ones who most need your love.

I’m not asking you to take the airplane and fly across the ocean, walk up to a terrorist, hug him, and say, “I love you.” Although perhaps that would be effective, if millions of you did it. You are energy and light, and when instead of greeting what you see as negativity with fear you begin to note, “This is also a spark of God, this being trapped in a lower consciousness, wanting to evolve, to burst out of the darkness and not knowing how. I will hold up my candle. I will more fully know myself and all beings as love and as light.” People get into the negative stories, “What will we do about this or that part of the world? What will we do about this country?” As so many of you are troubled about the recent election and various political figures, “What will we do about it?” —Love one another. Love one another.

What does it mean to do that? One form of love is deep listening. It’s very different to say, “I hear you, but I’m right! Listen to me now, you’re wrong!” Different than to just stand and listen, and listen, and listen. If you listen and finally he tells you, “Now that you’ve heard me you must go and punch this person,” of a different nationality or race, “No. I’ve heard how you feel, but I won’t do that.” “You didn’t hear me. You’re not listening.” “Well, I listened to you, and this is your truth. But I hold to my truth, and my truth is that we are all children of God. We are all sisters and brothers here, and I will not hate anybody.” If he can’t hear you, he can’t hear you. But love begins with listening rather than oppositionality. The challenge is not to separate yourself from others who have different views but to love them, as I love you. There is no one here with whom I have identical views on everything, but I love you. It’s as simple as that.

Now I am looking at that clock in the back. Ten minutes, shall we open this to questions?

(Q says, So Jesus does open mic time! laughter)

Q: There are many people from different branches of Christianity who say you came and died for our sins. What do you say you came to do 2,000 years ago?

Jeshua: Thank you for the question. What did I come to do? I came to remind you that you are God, an expression of God. That you and our Father are One, as I and the Father are One. I came to remind you that as that divine expression of God; you are eternal. The human body dies. The core essence of you is eternal and cannot die. The crucifixion, well it didn’t have to happen precisely that way. Crucifixion was the normal punishment of that time, I wasn’t singled out in that. But I did have to seem to leave the body in a certain way in order to demonstrate through the resurrection that you are eternal. If I am eternal, you are eternal. You cannot die. Only the body can pass away. If you remember the essence that you are and live from that essence, upon the deceasing of the body, the consciousness continues, knowing who you are, an expression of God, a divine spark of light, bringing love. Thank you.

Let me say one more thing here. Every religious organization tries to create its own body of belief. Certainly I was not a Christian. I appreciate the love that formed the Christian church, but as with any body of religious material there are distortions.

From my perspective there is no original sin. You are born in light and in love. Picture an infant, washed clean from the birth, unstained and beautiful, and then it turns into a 3 or 4 year old and goes out crawling in the mud. Well we can’t say the child is no longer free of any dirt, but the mud is external. The mud is not the essence of that baby. The light is the essence. If you pick up mud, go and wash it off. It is not your essence.

So many of you have struggled with feelings of unworthiness that are grounded in this whole concept of original sin. So many of you who grew up in the Catholic religion and were told you’re a sinner moved into feelings of shame and unworthiness. Do not turn to me to do this for you, look to yourself. Baptize yourself. Wash yourself clean. Let the waters of light and love pour over you and wash away everything until all that is left is the radiant core. And then remember that core. You are unlimited and perfect. You are Light. You are Love.

Is there another question?

Q: In the Bible we have a lot of examples of you conversing with people. And many times you gave surprising answers that showed your love. I was wondering what was going on inside of you at those times, when many would have been hateful or less than helpful. So what was going on inside of you?

Jeshua: When we forget our connection to Mother/Father/Source and find ourselves with the illusion of separation, then the heavier human consciousness takes over. Human consciousness can easily move into fear and the expressions of fear, like greed and hate. When you live your life in such a way, with prayer and meditation as part of your daily experience, to stay connected with that divine light, you can do that. Put your hands up with me, now. Feel the love come into you. Feel the energy around you.(Jeshua is supporting us drawing in very high energy). This is not separate from you, this is you. Thank you, you may put your hands down. Could you feel that energy?

It takes practice. It takes willingness to remember not to slip into the habitual patterns of hate and fear. When you do slip into those patterns, that doesn’t make you bad. You are not evil. This is what you came for, to practice making the free will choice, “No, I will not go into the darkness.”

Now many times I had that experience of being pulled toward the darkness by something that was just so terrible it broke my heart. I had to remember: God and I are one. God is within me and I am within God. The Father is within me and I within the Father, and I cannot lose that essence of love.

Some of you ask, what would Jesus do? Let’s ask, what would our Father/Mother/Creator do? Does that Creator love one being more than another? Does he love one who is on a path of fear and hate less than he loves one that is on a path of love? How could that be? So when you remember who you are and try to stay centered in the light that you are, you can rest in the Light. I won’t say it’s not hard. There are times, I believe my friend Aaron has told in some of his Christmas stories, a few times when he watched me struggle with anger when I was a boy. There were times when I felt angry.

However, there’s a story of my moving through the temple, seeing the moneylenders, tossing the tables. People say, “See? He felt angry and he acted out of anger.” No, I didn’t. If you saw your beloved children torturing a small animal, would rage come forth? “You can’t do that!” and you’d smack them? Or might there be immense sadness and saying a strong no, with love. That overturning of tables of the moneylenders and so forth was not expressing anger that separates but saying “No! In my Father’s house, you may not do this.” I want you feel the difference between anger and a strong compassion that may know deep sadness but is based in non-separation. Can you feel the difference?

Q: I have a question from the audience, it’s not from me. There are people in the world who believe that there is a tomb in Kashmir, India, that holds the remains of the body of Jeshua.

Jeshua: Why would you want to know where my body lies? (laughter) I am the living Jeshua! My body is nothing but dust!

Q: It’s not my question! (laughter)

Jeshua: I’m going to move away from your microphone here, I just want to step out and embrace you all with love. You are never apart from me, never! How could I leave you? You are in my heart and I am in your heart. We are brothers, brother and sister. You are the sons and daughters of our Father, just as I am. And the consciousness that flows through and which I brought into the earth on what you think of as Christmas Day, you are all bringing that awake consciousness into the earth. Your work here is to do that with increasing power, knowing your power. Don’t be afraid of your power, because it is the power of love. But when that power begins to drop itself into places of fear and anger, take care of it. Investigate the fear. Investigate any hatred or anger, any separation. How could anybody ever be separate?

Come…(Jeshua has invited 2 people to stand beside him and placed an arm around them both) Do you see three people here? (Q: Just one.) Look carefully. Do you see three lights here, or three lights circled by one light? Can you feel that? Can you see the place where our energy fields pull together and move up and outward? The divine light embracing us all, embracing all of you.

I embrace you. Know that you are love and that you are the midwife, birthing yourself into higher consciousness on this day. Support the willingness to do that work through this year, so that next year on Christmas Day you can ask yourself, how is the birth coming? Has the baby come forth yet?

My blessings to you all. (Jeshua standing, arms raised; very high energy). Thank you for being with me today. Please remember: you are Love. Remember the commitment to be the Love that you are, for this is the light that will save the world. When I say save the world, no, I don’t expect it to demolish itself. This is the light that will help bring the world more smoothly into its birth to higher consciousness, which is the primary work that all of you are here to do.

I love you. I’ll leave you now.
