The Mother on Catalyst as Initiation

The Mother: I am the one that you call The Mother, and it is my delight to hold you in the embrace of my heart. I am The Mother. What is a mother? A mother is a part of the co-creation of all creation.

A mother/father, Divine Masculine/Divine Feminine, comes together energetically to give out that which is the tiniest leaf out there on the tree, and the giant whales, Redwood trees, the mountains, the seas. Nothing is apart from my heart, so how could of any of you be separate from my heart?

Let me speak to you a bit before we begin the individual darshan.

A dear friend, Jeshua, was speaking to me recently about the process of initiation. Throughout your human experience there are many different kinds of initiation. The unhatched chick is in a shell. And when it pecks through and emerges into the world, it’s a kind of initiation. It is moving from its protected shell out into the world.

Each time you meet a challenging a catalyst, Aaron has suggested you to consider that catalyst a teacher and say, ‘thank you, teacher.’ It may be a tough teacher, but you do grow and learn. At a certain point the teaching becomes an initiation to the next level, perhaps just a subtle next level of consciousness.

Many of you have learned to fear such initiation, to feel that it is ‘testing’ you. I would beseech you to begin to consider each challenge not as test but as reminder, “Come one more step. One more step.” There are so many doors before you, worlds beyond those doors, and all will fall open with your intention, courage and love.

A friend tells the story. She had been severely bitten by a dog as a child and she was terrified of dogs. A new neighbor with a very well-trained dog moved next door. He did not let the dog loose, he kept it on a leash, but just to see it walking past her house on that leash sent her fleeing inside.

She was sitting in her yard, in a chair under a lovely tree, right near the property line. The dog was on a long chain in his yard. Seeing her there, tail wagging, he started to walk up there. And she froze. She was terrified. She said, “No.” And the dog cocked his head and looked at her. Not knowing what else, she said, “Sit.” The dog sat.

He raised a paw, cocked his head, laid down with his head on his paws and looked at her.

She said they sat there perhaps for almost an hour, the dog not moving, just looking at her, tail gently wagging, waiting for what would come next. She moved her chair closer to the property line to a place where the dog would be able to come within a foot or so of her. She was trembling, she tells me.

She said to the dog, “Come.”

The dog wagged his tail, and got up, and took whatever steps he could until he was stopped by his chain, and looked at her. Just a foot away….

He just stood there looking at her until she said, “Sit.” And he sat, and extending his paw again, cocked his head, laid down again with his head on his paw, waiting for the next guidance from her.

She said she thought to herself, “I can do this.” She again moved her chair, just to the point where the dog could perhaps lean in to the collar and touch her, but where she could retreat quickly if it proved aggressive in some way.

“Come…” and the dog came up there, straining forward, nose touching, and wagged his tail, and laid down at her feet looking up at her with such appealing eyes. Wagging his tail, whining a little bit until she reached out a terrified hand. WAG, WAG, WAG, WAG…. Dog almost smiling. Patted his head.

She moved a bit closer, into the neighbor’s yard. And the dog very gently came up and took his nose and lifted her hand the way dogs will do so that she would stroke him. Wagging his tail, lifted one paw and put it on her knee. She said, there was emotion in his eyes, an ocean of love.

To open to that ocean of love she had to trust herself and her experience.

This is not about going out and patting any stray dog. This was a dog she had been repeatedly assured was harmless, would never bite her or hurt her.

But what healed her was the ability to trust her present experience, to compare it with the old ideas of how the world is – how a dog is, and to release old myths, to walk through a doorway to new understandings.

I said to heal her, but she did not heal. She opened into that which was never afraid of dogs, to that place where she and the dog were one.

Each of you has the “dog” – whatever the terror may be. A terror of doing something that offends others so that you will not be loved. A terror of being seen, of your deepest thoughts being seen in some way. A terror of not being seen. A terror of being alone. A terror of losing the shielding that holds you alone. A terror of not getting it right. A terror of the power you have if you do get it right.

Each of you will have these places. They are not obstacles to your knowing your fully awakened consciousness. They are part of the initiation into that higher consciousness, the pecking away of that shell – head emerged, peering around (that baby bird that you are), looking at the next world and then here you are in this world getting ready to peck away further at the shell of Earth, 3rd Density consciousness.

What’s beyond it? What is that next step? Is it safe to step through? Do you feel ready?

Can you trust that your love is carrying you to greater and greater love, not to a place of harm?

Can you find the courage, holding my hands, and walking with me, to break through the shell; to become more clear on the nature of that shell, to see that you no longer need it as protection, no longer need old myths of limits, of brokenness, and it is time to release them.

I find that for most of you knowing your deepest intention is the most helpful part. That little bird in the shell, its still tight, its grown and now its filling the space. It doesn’t think so much, “I want to serve the world” it just says, “I want to get out of here.”

How many of you are feeling this 3rd Density earth, with its somewhat limited consciousness, as an uncomfortable shell? Are you ready to break free?

But then the other half of it…. “I choose to break free in service to all beings.” This is vital for the human, as you have a broader consciousness than the fledgling 2nd density bird. Reflect: “This little fledgling that I am, it cannot do what my heart chooses to do, but the fully awakened one that I am, that can do what it has chosen to do to support the raising of consciousness, and in love, to support this move to an earth where all beings are happy and free.”

Thank you. I love you all.
